Jet lag is something we’ll probably be worried about. I initially were too, mainly cause i don’t know how bad or well I’ll take it. And thankfully, I think it wasn’t as bad as I thought.

After an early night, I woke up at 5am in the morning. The sun rises at about 5ish. When I woke up, the sky looked like 7am in Singapore. I was just tossing on the bed for a bit before washing up at 6ish; my friend woke up pretty early too :)

Semi-Solo Adventure to London – Part 1

“Hey-ya” is the way where the people of London greets Hello! And so, I took on my first semi-solo trip after contemplating for ages (after the bestie went for her own solo to Korea, I was really inspired to). So here goes my 15 days of my semi-solo journey (which I’ll explained in a bit).

P.S. This post was supposed to be up last year. I wanted to draft a few posts and schedule them but think that is not happening. So I’ll take my time to slowly blog about my trip last year alright. Work has been hectic and a lot of other things just took priority, ah wells #Life. Though we still enjoy writing & documenting our journey but I think this space will also serve as one that will bring back memories in time to come. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy this. Yogyakarta Part 5 – Karton Museum Palace, Water Castle & Wake Up Home Stay

This marks the last post of our Jogja trip where we explored some of the local museums.

And so before I start on the museums, you might be wondering why there is a Wake Up Home Stay in the title? Well, the night before Airasia sent us an email stating that our flight has been rescheduled to 9am instead of the original 7am. Our initial plan was to check out, hang around the city and then head to the airport for stay-over because we needed to be there by 5am. But with the new rescheduling and after weighing our options, we decided to stay for an additional night and check out early next morning.

Eat Shop Hong Kong Day 4: Duck Shing Ho Egg Roll, Mak’s noodle, Causeway bay, Four Seasons Claypot Rice & Fa Yuen Street

As mentioned in Day 3’s post, we went back to Capitol/Christy cafe for our breakfast. Since the cafe is within Hong Kong Island, we took the tram to our next destination – Duck Shing Ho Egg Roll @ North Point. Yes, the tram only operates within Hong Kong Island and it is only about 2.4HKD per ride. Well, it used to be 2HKD 6 years ago and that was how I commute to work daily. Continue reading
